Well happy be-lated  Thanksgiving to everyone!! Adam and I had a nice holiday. His nephew, Nathan, used to be a chef and wanted to do Thanksgiving this year. So we drove about 3 hours to North Georgia to his house. He and his wife, Hollie, put on a WONDEFUL spread!! We had 2 fried turkeys, a prime rib, HOMEMADE Key Lime Pie and chocolate chip scotch pecan pie....I didn't make a pig of myself, which I was proud of, but it was all so good! Here's some pictures of my nephew Miles...isn't he  adorable?!!?

(why do cute, YOUNG, boys always flirt with me?)

Miles and Dale (grandpa - he rebuilt our bathroom)

  (Mmmmm.....pie crust!)

Hard to believe that Christmas is NOW less than a month away! We aren't going to do much. I've got Mom and Dad taken care of and we're going to do newsletters to everyone else, which I'm hoping I can keep that up every year. So keep your eyes open for the mail!

Well I better run. I'm at work today - BLAH!! So I have to set up and get ready. Enjoy the weekend everyone!!

Sorry it's been so long since I last posted. I've just been so busy with work and all...now that my computer at home is on the fritz, my time online has diminished even more. Ah well, hopefully I can fix it myself without having to get ANOTHER modem or wire or other gizmo!

My baby got neutered  Monday. No, not Adam (although I'm trying to persuade him on that one). Flick had his surgery and is already back to his old self. Adam said when he went to pick him up on Tuesday morning Flick was so excited to see him that he was crying. It broke my heart when he told me! But at least that deed is done and hopefully his voice will stop cracking

Married life is good : to answer everyone's questions. Adam and I are still working our butts off. We are having our living/dining/kitchen painted this weekend. So I'm excited about that. I can finally finish putting up the rest of the wedding presents we got and the other decorations I've accumulated over the year. Adam's 30th birthday is Sunday, so I'm taking him to Maggioano's in Atlanta. His best friend, Mary Ann, is going to surprise him by meeting us there. He hasn't seen her since this summer, so I thought it'd be a nice treat for him. She's such a great person and we both love her, so it's fine with me that my husband has dinner with me AND another woman. I mean, it WAS my idea

April, if you're reading this, I want you to know that I had a dream the other night that you were married! Yes, of course it was to Mikey, but I dreamnt that you called me for marriage advice! Who knows, maybe that'll be possible someday in the NEAR FUTURE!!!

Well I gotta go look busy...hope everyone is well and enjoying the fall weather!

Love y'all!

So now the bird flu has been found in: Greece, England, and Croatia. Pandemic beginning? I'm starting to believe so.....I swear prophecies are starting to unfold.

My mother-in-law and I were having a discussion last night about my dwarfism and it led to talking about human evolution. We then discussed why men have nipples (because in the womb, babies start out as girls and then at a certain age of development, chromosomes, hormones, and the brain decided which sex to end up as). I said "well if that's the case, then the verse "all men are created in the image of God" could REALLY take a turn since we all started out as a girl"....she laughed then stopped, looked at me and said "you know, that's actually something to think about!"......see? I'm full of SOME strands of intelligence  (ok Blake, bring on your backwards chauvinist Bible Thumping )

I talked to Angie last night!! She's still as chipper as ever.......gosh, I miss her, April, Melissa, Drew and everyone....

Well the vacation was GREAT! We left Sunday morning and came on Tuesday afternoon. It was only about a 2.5 hr drive for us, so we realized we could come up more often on weekends. The weather was partly cloudy and drizzly on Monday, but it was perfect to us. I wasn't too impressed with the aquarium. I mean, it was nice, but I thought it was going to be thing big, wonderous thing..... But it was still nice to see all the many kinds of seahorses and such. Our favorite day was our last day, on Tuesday. We went to Rock City and rode the incline railroad. That thing was kinda freaky....Adam said he loved the look on my face when I sat down in it. You're pretty much looking straight down the mountain when you sit in the car. But it was nice to get away.....

You know that song "Changes" by David Bowie? It seems to be my theme lately. I am in such a need of a change, on so many levels. My job is driving me crazy and I want to change departments so bad, but it's so hard to move around in here. I want to do something different to my hair - but what?! All I do is highlight it blonde and it's getting old. I'd love to try some red AND blonde highlights, but I'm not sure how that'll look. I want to paint our living room, kitchen, and bedroom so bad but we never have time to have anyone come out to give us a free estimate. We'd paint it ourselves but the walls are too high in the living room and Adam basically said he wasn't doing it again after he tackled our bathroom - which I can't really blame him. Ugh.............

I also think the end of the world is coming. I'm not a "Doomsday" person but all this weather, political, and social stuff that has been going on is really freaky...I was talking to a co-worker of mine yesterday about it and she sees it too. Hurricanes, earthquakes, disease, starvation, war, social destruction; it's all in the Book! Adam worries about me because I'm afraid to die because I honestly don't know if I truely believe in a Heaven or a Hell, but I believe there is "something". But lately I'm starting to lean more to the fact that there IS an actual Heaven. Adam and I finally got back into church a couple of months ago. It's really started to make me feel better about things but of course, whenever I go to church, I start over-analyzing things in life and get frustrated. But the issues that have been happening lately are just a tad too real...Adam and I watched an interesting show about Nostradomus and how precise his predictions were, especially about Hitler. Some of Nostradomus' stuff I think is coincidence, but this show was interesting. So who's to say that these things aren't just the beginning of it all??

Well I guess I better get off to my sucky job and let the sucky customers yell at me because we cut their power off for not paying their bill. HA! I had a friend the other day who had a customer threaten us with a gun. He was eligible for disconnection (his bill was over $500 and he hadn't paid since Aug) and he said he was going to wait by his meter with a gun so when we come out to cut his power, he will be "ready". Needless to say, the field rep came out with the police and the bastard got arrested for terroristic threats..................asshole.
